The
Big Walk takes place annually and this year it will take place on Sunday, 11 November 2012. During the past few years the number of
participants using public transport has increased significantly. This is mainly due to extensive media publicity
by event organisors. Another
contributing factor is the convenience of Park and Ride rail stations along the
Southern Line and the walking distance between Mobray station stain destination
point (Rhodes HIgh School) .
So why use your car, use Metrorail on Sunday and join thousands of walkers on the train.
